MEDIA STATEMENT BY THE STAFF OF THE MINISTRY FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY ON THE DEATH OF MINISTER STEVE TSHWETE.
It was with shock and deep sadness that we learned of the death of our dear Minister.
He was a wonderful and compassionate man and utterly loyal and committed to the Portfolio in which he served and to the rebuilding of our country. He treated us, his staff, like his sons and daughters and to us he was like a father.
It was indeed a privilege and honour for all of us to have served a man of his stature. We are going to miss him terribly.
We would also like to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to Mrs Pam Tshwete, their two children, Yonda and Mayehlomi, other family members and friends.
Rest in peace our dear Minister.
