The meeting noted the Report of the South African Observer Mission to the Presidential Elections in Zimbabwe, which has been received and accepted by President Thabo Mbeki. The Report will be made public by the SAOM in due course.

Cabinet approved the proposed relocation of Durban International Airport to La Mercy and the renaming of the relocated airport, "King Shaka International Airport". * designation of a specific area between the industrial area and the Port of Richard's Bay as an IDZ.

Cabinet noted a report on the progress being made by the International Marketing Council in implementing its mandate both within SA and internationally, including the process towards defining a "country brand identity". Government commits itself to work with all other partners in this effort to ensure that South Africans join hands in promoting our country.
