NYC LAUNCHES THE YOUTH INFORMATION GUIDE
The National Youth Commission (NYC) invites all members of the media to the launch of the Youth Information Guide at Ephes Mamkele High School in Wattville, Benoni, (Ndengentonga Street), Ekurhuleni Metropolitan area, on Friday, 1 March 2002, at 12h00.
The Minister in the Presidency, Dr Essop Pahad, will deliver the keynote address at the launch.
More than 2000 learners, including representatives of High Schools in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan area, are expected to attend the event.
The Minister of Education, Prof Kader Asmal; Gauteng Education MEC, Mr Ignatius Jacobs; Gauteng MEC for Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Mondli Gungubele and the Executive Mayor of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council, Mr Duma Nkosi, have also been invited to attend the event.
