NSTF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY AWARDS FOR 2001 - CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
COUNTDOWN TO CLOSING DATE ON 30 NOVEMBER 2001 !!!
Dear Stakeholders of the Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Community,
Reminder! The closing date for nominations for the 4th NSTF S&T Awards for 2001 is drawing nearer... 7 days left to submit your nomination - closing day, Friday, 30 November 2001.
The National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) have initiated the NSTF Science and Technology Awards, that was launched in 1998 during the celebrations of the 1998 Year of Science and Technology (YEAST), to honour and award those individuals and organisations who have made outstanding and significant contributions to SET.
These awards have represented a considerable success in the past three years, which have also been glorified and supported by the State President's office, the Ministry of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology and other Cabinet Ministers involved in Science, Engineering and Technology!
Again, we would like to make an appeal to all stakeholders to support this great event by identifying and pursuing possible candidates for the six different categories of these awards. I have attached the nomination form (Word 2000 document), which contains comprehensive information on the process, categories and criteria. Also, re-nominations are to be encouraged from previous unsuccessful entrants.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, cooperation and assistance, without which, this initiative could not have accomplished the highly praised successes it has in the past!!
