ZERO TOLERANCE AGAINST CRIME CAMPAIGN TO BE LAUNCHED
The Gauteng MEC for Safety and Liaison, Nomvula Mokonyane, and the Mogale City Executive Mayor Lentswe Mokgatle, will on Saturday 20, October 2001, launch a campaign on "Zero tolerance Against Crime". The campaign is aimed at mobilising the community to support the victim empowerment programme.
A number of stakeholders will participate in the event by having stalls and promoting various messages and programmes aimed at combating crime. Various units from the police and Mogale City will display their skills in terms of attending to emergencies.
There will be an opportunity for the business sector to promote their business and show that they are against crime.
