WESTERN CAPE MEC FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND CULTURAL AFFAIRS, MR GLEN ADAMS, WILL SPEND A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CRAFTER ON 8 OCTOBER
Western Cape MEC for Environmental and Cultural Affairs, Glen Adams, will spend a day in the life of a crafter as part of the campaign by the Western Cape Government to ensure that its public representatives communicate with and understand the public at a grassroots level.
The MEC has chosen to spend the day in the life of a crafter as it combines both his environmental and cultural portfolios especially since one of the organisations he will work with, namely Tsoga Crafters, produces their crafts from waste materials.
The MEC is looking forward to working hands-on with these talented and entrepreneurial women from the Gugu'sthebe and Tsoga Craft Organisations in Langa.
The MEC's day will start at 10h00 on Monday, 8 October, at the Craft Centre on the corner of Church and Washington streetst in Langa. You are hereby invited to join him.
