GAUTENG PREMIER, MBHAZIMA SHILOWA, AND HEALTH MEC, DR GWEN RAMOKGOPA, WILL VISIT SPARROW MINISTRIES' HIV/AIDS HOUSING PROJECT
Gauteng Premier, Mbhazima Shilowa, and Health MEC, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, will visit a new housing project for people living with HIV/AIDS at the Sparrow Ministries' in Maraisburg on Tuesday, 11 September 2001.
The project has been initiated by the Gauteng Department of Housing in line with the National AIDS Strategy that aims to address the housing needs of people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. It is the first project of this kind to benefit a hospice that supports destitute and terminally ill HIV/AIDS patients and their dependants.
