GAUTENG PREMIER AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL TO VISIT METSWEDING DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY IN BRONKHORTSPRUIT ON 30 MAY 2001
Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa and Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will visit Metsweding District Municipality in Bronkhorstspruit on Wednesday, 30 May 2001, as part of the provincial government's "Let's Talk" programme.
The programme was launched two years ago and aims to facilitate face-to-face communication and interaction between Gauteng government leaders and the people of the province. It is also an opportunity for government to report on its work and address community concerns.
The visit to Bronkhorstspruit will include walkabouts by the Premier and the MECs through several parts of the area, including Zithobeni and Rethabiseng townships. It will conclude with a public meeting at the Rethabiseng Community Hall.
