TRC AMNESTY APPLICATIONS FROM SELF DEFENCE UNIT AND APLA MEMBERS
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Amnesty Committee will be hearing amnesty applications from a numbers Self Defence Unit members who were involved in attempted murder, murder and petrol bombing houses belonging to policemen and IFP members in Thokoza.
The hearing will be held at GISS Centre Mayfair, Johannesburg starting January 29 to February 2, 2001.
Also applying for amnesty in the same hearing will be three APLA members for robbery, culpable homicide, murder and the attempted murder of a policemen.
