The South African veterinary team will meet with veterinary services representatives from Swaziland and Mozambique on Friday in Nelspruit.

The meeting was agreed upon for the three countries to brief each other scientifically, debate possible sources of infections and to discuss the prevention of the disease and its further spread.
Minister Didiza said, "Regional co-operation is important because should one country eradicate the disease without any alleviation in other countries, foot and mouth disease will continue to be a problem within our borders.
