PRESIDENT THABO MBEKI'S VISIT TO MOZAMBIQUE 15-16 JANUARY 2000
President Mbeki, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Home Affairs Minister, Dr Mangosuthu Buthelezi will be visiting Mozambique for two days, from 15 to 16 January 2000.
The President and his delegation will be attending the inauguration of President Joaquim Chissano, for his second term in office which will take place on the 15th January 2000.
After the inauguration, the President will attend the SADC extra-ordinary meeting which will also take place in Maputo on Sunday January 16, 2000. The meeting will start with a plenary, followed by a closed session and thereafter a press conference.
