STATEMENT ON STATE VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA BY COL MUAMMAR AL QADDAFI
The Libyan Leader, Colonel Muammar Al Qaddafi, will pay a state visit to South Africa from 13-15 June 1999 at the invitation of President Nelson Mandela. It is expected that Col Qaddafi will also attend the inauguration of the new South African President on 16 June 1999 in Pretoria.
