SIGNING OF N3 CONCESSION CONTRACT
The Minister of Transport, Mac Maharaj, would like to invite you to a press conference where he will sign the 30-year concession contract for the N3 route (between Heidelberg in Gauteng and Cedara in KwaZulu Natal) with N3 Toll Concession Limited.
In June 1997, the South African Roads Board issued an Invitation to Tender for a 30-year concession on a section of the N3 highway, between Heidelberg, Gauteng and Cedara, KwaZulu Natal.
The N3 Toll Concession Company (N3TC) was subsequently elected as the preferred bidder for the design, construction, financing, operating and maintenance of th.is portion of the N3.
