CABINET MEETING - 3 SEPTEMBER 1997
The Cabinet held its regular fortnightly meeting in Tuynhuys, Cape Town. The meeting, chaired by Acting President Mangosuthu Buthelezi, considered in the main reports from the Cabinet Committees.
The Cabinet considered several Bills and approved that the following be submitted to Parliament during the current session:
1. Land Bank Amendment Bill, 1997;
2. Eskom Amendment Bill, 1997;
3. Subdivision of Agricultural Land Act Repeal Bill, 1997;
4. National Prosecuting Authority Bill, 1997;
5. Prevention of Unlawful Occupation of Land Bill, 1997; and
6. Chiropractors, Homeopaths, and Allied Health Service Professions Amendment Bill, 1997.
