Media briefing session with Deputy Minister Lechesa Tsenoli

The Deputy Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform, Mr Lechesa Tsenoli cordially invites members of the media to a media briefing session to be held on 28 February 2013 at the Mercure hotel in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.  The media briefing session will start at 11:00 in the morning, followed by a tour of the Mbuyane project in White River.

Among other issues, the media briefing session will focus on the Centenary commemoration of the 1913 Natives’ Land Act. The Deputy Minister will give a progress report on programmes implemented by the Government, and in particular, the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform towards reversing the negative impact of the 1913 Natives’ Land Act. Prior to the media briefing session, Deputy Minister Tsenoli will meet with the Ehlanzeni District Municipality Mayor, the Local Municipality Mayors and Councilors, as well as the Traditional Leadership from the area.

Date: Thursday, 28 February 2013
Venue: Mercure hotel, Cnr N4 and Graniet Street, NELSPRUIT
Time: 11:00

NB: The media briefing session will be followed by a tour of the Mbuyane project in White River, approximately 25 km from Nelspruit (Directions to the Mbuyane project will be provided).
