North West pre-SOPA media briefing session and networking dinner

North West Premier Thandi Modise is to deliver the State of the Province Address (SOPA) to mark the opening of the North West Provincial Legislature as from 9h00 on Friday 22 February 2013.

Members of the media are invited to cover the SOPA and attend a Pre-SOPA Media Briefing Session and networking dinner hosted by the Chief Directorate Communication in partnership with the North West Provincial Legislature Communication Unit to be held as follows:
Date: Thursday 21 February 2013
Time: 18h30 for 19h00
Venue: To be confirmed

The session is compulsory as a briefing on the rules of the chamber, do’s and don’t will be outlined for all journalists that wish to cover SOPA and accreditation issued.

Members of media who will require overnight accommodation should confirm by 10h00 am on Thursday, 21 February 2013 with Patrick Dooms at pdooms@nwpg.gov.za or 084 831 4072.

Please note that accommodation for community media out of town is limited to two representatives per media house.
