State of readiness: The security concept for the Orange AFCON 2013

Members of the media are invited to a briefing on the security concept implemented to secure the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2013. The briefing seeks to inform the media on the integrated approach being followed by the NATJOINTS in creating a safe and peaceful environment for the games to be played in five host cities.
The media briefing will take place as follows:
Date: Thursday, 17 January 2013
Time: 10h00
Venue: Swartkop Air Force Base (entrance in Old Johannesburg Road)
A static display as well as a short security simulation exercise will follow the briefing.
