Western Cape MEC for Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle to brief the media on the action taken with regard to the Bellville taxi associations following violence in the area

Western Cape Transport and Public Works MEC Robin Carlisle, will be briefing the media on the latest update with regard to the restrictions placed on three Bellville taxi associations (CATA Bellville, Bloekombos and Durbanville Taxi Associations).

These restrictions were imposed on these taxi associations following a period of taxi violence which saw three members of the industry killed and others wounded.

All media are invited and welcome to attend. There will be opportunity for interviews and photographs.
