Media invitation to the MEC’s budget speech

MEC for Agriculture, Mme Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba will present the 2010/11 budget speech at the Limpopo Provincial Legislature.

Details of the event are as follows:
Date: Tuesday, 9 March 2010
Time: 14h00
Venue: Limpopo Provincial Legislature, Lebowakgomo

The media, both electronic and print, has always played and continues to play a meaningful role in helping government strengthen democracy, hence this invitation. Premier Cassel Mathale gave highlights on the plans for agriculture in the State of the Province Address, the MEC will provide a detailed programme of action intended to improve the agricultural sector.

The media should also take note that the budget speech will be preceded by media briefing on the same date, 9 March 2010.
Time: 10h30
Venue: 69 Biccard Street, Department of Agriculture’s Offices 6 floor board room

This will enable journalists to interact with the MEC in connection with the 2010 plans for the agricultural sector.
