Western Cape MEC for Community Safety Dan Plato drives Northlink bursary application for unemployed youth

13 Nov 2012

Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will be speaking to the unemployed youth of Ottery and surrounding areas, encouraging them to take advantage of bursaries offered by Northlink College campuses for various courses and trades.

MEC Plato said, “It is only through a whole-of-society approach that we will win the war against crime, and this war starts by mobilising the youth. When our learners graduate from high school, go on to study at a tertiary institution and as result are in a much better position to find employment, the opportunities that are open to them become far more than the uneducated, unemployed youth.”

All media are invited to attend.
