Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) opens new school to address backlog of schools

Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane together with MECs for Education and Infrastructure Development Barbara Creecy and Qedani Mahlangu will on Tuesday open a new school in Olivenhoutbosch.

The state-of-the-art school was built using alternative construction methods. Construction of the school started in March this year and it is now ready for handover, marking a record period of constructing a school.
