Public Protector holds a national stakeholder consultative forum

Public Protector, Advocate Thuli Madonsela, will hold talks with stakeholders including government, political parties, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), professional bodies and the media in Pretoria on Monday, 29 March 2010. The meeting will take place at the South African Reserve Bank Conference Centre, at 09h00.

The purpose of the national stakeholder consultative forum is to present feedback on the provincial stakeholder consultative forums particularly observations on key service delivery challenges, share information on the intended strategic direction and priorities of the Public Protector in the next few years and provide a platform for dialogue on appropriate cooperation as envisaged in section 181(3) of the Constitution.

A media briefing will also take place after the formal event.
