Minister Dipuo Peters to launch solar water heating programme

The Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters, and the Mayor of Umsobomvu Local Municipality, Ms Nombulelo Hermanus, will officially launch the Solar Water Heater programme at Ou Boks Township Colesberg, Northern Cape, on 9 November 2012.

The Department of Energy (DoE) remains committed in its determination to ensure that one million (1 million) solar water heaters (SWHs) are installed in households and commercial buildings by 2014/15.
