Suspension of Lieutenant General Mdluli

The South African Police Service has taken note of the outcome of the inquest held on 2 November 2012 at the Boksburg Magistrate Court in respect of the late Mr. Oupa Ramokgibe.
This office would like to place on record that the outcome of the inquest in question has no bearing on the internal disciplinary process that is in progress.
The South African Police Service further wishes to confirm that Lieutenant General Mdluli remains suspended.
