Eid message from President Jacob Zuma

26 Oct 2012

On behalf of the Government, I would like to extend our warmest wishes to the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid-ul- Adha today Friday 26 October 2012.

Muslims use this time to reflect on the year gone by to look at their challenges and achievements and to also express gratitude on their blessings, the gift of life and good health.

Muslims also use this time to focus on the less fortunate, reaching out to those around them in the form of doing community work and praying for others.

As you offer your sacrifices, during this spiritual time I wish that the almighty answers your prayers and fulfils all your dreams on this Eid-ul-Adha and always.

Have a blessed Eid-ul-Adha!
