Dikgosi in the North West convene for strategic planning workshop
19 Oct 2012 North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, China Dodovu will on 22 October 2012 address a 4-day Strategic Planning workshop for Dikgosi in Rustenburg, Wigwam Hotel.
Amongst other issues, the workshop will reflect on the status quo of traditional affairs in the North West Province as well as commitments that were made during the Traditional Leaders Summit held in July this year. Other issues to be discussed will include: - Roles and responsibility of traditional leaders
- Governance and functionality of traditional leadership
- Report from Commission on Claims and Disputes
The workshop will be held as follows:
