Fire arm destruction

Members of the media are hereby invited to witness the destruction of thousands of firearms including rifles, shotguns as well as pistols, which forms part of Operation Duty Calls aimed at securing a safe festive season. These firearms were seized by, or surrendered to the police in Limpopo and will be destroyed to permanently remove them from society. The SAPS is committed to eradicating illegal firearms which wreak havoc when used in armed robberies and other violent crimes.
