MEC Nandi Mayathula-Khoza to open an Early Childhood Development centre in Katlehong

15 Oct 2012

Early childhood Development (ECD) is one of the key priorities of the Gauteng Provincial Government. Investment in ECD is not only seen as a means of giving children a head-start in live, but also of developing their families, and of contributing to the socio-economic development of the province through Social Development Infrastructure.

In light of the above the Gauteng Department of Social Development will officially open an Early Childhood Development Centre in Katlehong. This event forms part of the 2012 Social Development Month programme marked through various activities in the province.

Members of the media are invited. The details are as follows:

Venue: Themba Phungula Early Childhood Development Centre, 1080 Cnr Sibongile and Sibusiso Streets, Siluma View (Katlehong)
Date: Wednesday 17 October 2012
Time: 10h00
