Minister Grant to announce new infrastructure plan

25 Feb 2010

Last year the Department undertook to do a baseline audit of all the schools in the province to ascertain where we should target our future infrastructure interventions.

Today, Western Cape Education MEC, Donald Grant, will be discussing the outcome of this audit as well as announcing the Western Cape Education Department’s new infrastructure plan for 2010/11.

This innovative plan provides for a number of short and long term interventions. Once successfully implemented, it will help alleviate school overcrowding and improve the overall state of our school infrastructure across the province.

Venue: Minister’s boardroom, 23rd floor Sanlam Building, Golden Acre
Date: 25 February 2010
Time: 12h00
