Statement by Minister Baloyi on the appointment of a Director-General for Cooperative Governance
2 Oct 2012 Minister for Cooperative Governance, Mr Masenyani Richard Baloyi is pleased to announce the appointment on transfer of Mr Vusimuzi Madonsela as a Director-General for Cooperative Governance with effect from Monday, 1 October 2012.
Mr Madonsela is the former Director-General of the Department of Social Development and has occupied the position of Director-General for the past nine years. He is amongst the longest serving Director-General in the public service currently.
“The Director-General brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise which will surely benefit the department of Cooperative Governance in navigating through its mandate across the three spheres,” said Minister Baloyi.
