Celebrating EPWP month in OR Tambo

In celebrating the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) month, the Department of Roads and Public Works will have an EPWP open day in Mthatha, to showcase a number of projects.

The activities for the day include:

  • induction of Provincial Contractors Forum
  • signing of Memorandum of Understanding’s with Further Education and Training Colleges & KSD Municipality
  • certification of Qualified APTCoD learners
  • opening of the Amathuba Job Portal Site Office
  • introduction of House Hold Contractors appointed for greening projects.

The Community of the OR Tambo Region is requested to attend this event to be informed about Expanded Public Works Programmes (EPWP) opportunities available in the region.
