Application for accreditation: 37th annual International Small Business Congress, Sandton Convention Centre,South Africa

Members of the media are invited to apply for accreditation to the 37th annual International Small Business Congress (ISBC), hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry from, 15 to 18 September 2012 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.

The Congress will be held under the theme: "Fostering small business in new and high-potential industries worldwide". Amongst others, speakers will include local and foreign ministers, the President of ISBC, Ms Catherine Swift, business and academic representatives from South Africa, Canada, England, Nigeria, Malaysia, Northern Ireland, Cameroon, Japan, France, Mauritius, Sierra Leone and India.

For accreditation, members of the media are requested to submit their names, contacts, designation, ID numbers, physical and work address to both Mamosa Dikeledi on 083 584 6856/ MDikeledi@thedti.gov.za and Takalani Sithi on 078 252 3722/ takalani@gcis.gov.za

Please forward the above details by no later than Friday, 14 September 2012.

NB: No media will be allowed access to the congress without prior accreditation. 

The Congress will be hosted in collaboration with the City of Johannesburg, Foundation for African Business and Consumer Services (FABCOS), Small Enterprise Finance Agency (Sefa), Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda), Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), MTN Business, ABSA Bank and Shanduka Black Umbrellas.
