MEC Mohono meets with farmers in the province

The MEC for the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Desbo Mohono, will as part of her quest for improved relations with the department’s key stakeholders, have district meetings with farmers.

While this platform is created to enable farmers to discuss pertinent sector issues with the MEC, it is expected that the MEC will also use that opportunity to outline and reconfirm processes and procedures applied by government in providing agricultural support services.

The district meetings will be held as follows:

  • Bojanala Platinum District - Monday, 10 September 2012 at Rustenburg Old Town Hall
  • Dr Kenneth Kaunda District– Thursday, 13 September 2012 at Matlosana
  • Banquet Hall Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District – Friday, 14 September 2012 at Taung Agricultural College
  • Ngaka Modiri Molema District – Saturday, 15 September at Mahikeng Civic Centre

The meetings are all scheduled to start at 10h00 and members of the media are invited.
