President Jacob Zuma to attend the National Non-Profit Organisations (NPO) summit

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 16 Aug 2012, attend the National Non-Profit Organisation (NPO Summit) in Johannesburg. The summit will be held under theme "Working Together to Fight Poverty, Unemployment and Inequality".

Hosted by the Department of Social Development, the summit will provide a platform for effective partnership between government and the non-profit sector as mandated by the Non-profit Organisations Act of 1997. The summit will also look at effective ways of ensuring coordination and integration among all stakeholders.

Details of the summit are as follows:
Venue: Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre, Boksburg
Time: 09h00
