North West Provincial Legislature to hold Women’s Parliament 2012
8 Aug 2012 The North West Provincial Legislature will be holding its annual Women’s Parliament on Friday August 10, 2012 in the Legislature Chamber at 9h00. The theme of the event is, “Economic empowerment for women to address unemployment, poverty and inequality”. It will focus on assisting women to acquire skills development, participate economically and liberate them socially and psychologically. The following thematic areas will be discussed, Skills development as empowerment for women, Economic empowerment and opportunities for women to address inequality, and Eradication of women unemployment to alleviate poverty.
