Deputy Minister Andries Nel arrives in Maputo, Mozambique, to participate in a meeting of SADC Committee of Ministers of Justice/Attorneys-General

Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr Andries Nel, MP, has arrived in Maputo today to attend a meeting of Southern African Development Community (SADC) Committee of Ministers of Justice which is scheduled to happen from 8-11 August 2012.

The meeting of SADC Ministers of Justice/Attorneys-General will discuss the way-forward regarding preparations of the Report to the Summit on the role of the SADC Tribunal and amendments to the relevant SADC legal instruments.

The meeting will further discuss reservations presented by the Republic of Zimbabwe on some of the issues concerning the amendment of SADC legal instruments regarding the Tribunal.
