South Africa congratulates Somalia on successful adoption of a constitution
2 Aug 2012 The South African Government welcomes the announcement by the Somali National Constituent Assembly that the Somali Constitution has been passed by a resounding majority. International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane said: “We extend our hearty congratulations to the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, the Somali people and all stakeholders following the adoption of this constitution.
