Transport Deputy Minister attends Mass Memorial Service of bus crash victims

Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga, will on Wednesday (4 July 2012) join family members, relatives, friends and members of the community at a mass memorial service to be held for the victims of a bus crash that took place in Meyerton, south of Johannesburg last week.

19 people were killed and many others injured when the bus they were traveling in between Sebokeng and Meyerton hit the rails of a bridge and plummeted 10 meters to the ground, landing on its side. Deputy Minister Chikunga will pass her condolences to the bereaved families during the memorial service.
