Human Settlements Committee visits North West
18 Jun 2012 Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements is this week conducting an oversight visit to the North West.
The aim of the oversight visit is to assess, among others, progress made by the province in the winding down of the North West Housing Corporation, the management of the housing beneficiary lists, the provision of sanitation to rural areas, the finalisation of incomplete projects and the rectification of shoddy workmanship. The districts that will be visited are Ngaka Modiri Molema, Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati, Dr Kenneth Kaunda and Bojanala.
