Minister and new Deputy Ministers to be sworn in
13 Jun 2012 The newly appointed Minister and Deputy Ministers will be sworn in today at the President’s Office, Tuynhuys in Cape Town, by Judge President of the Western Cape High Court, Justice John Hlophe.
The following members of the National Executive will take the oath of office: - Minister of Transport, Mr Ben Martins.
- Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga.
- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Mr Mduduzi Manana.
- Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises, Mr Gratitude Magwanishe.
Ministers already serving in Cabinet as well as Deputy Ministers taking up responsibilities in new portfolios do not have to be sworn in for the second time.
