President Zuma sends a message of condolences to Kenya

His Excellency President Jacob Zuma has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellecy Mwai Kibaki, as well as to the Government and the people of the Republic of Kenya following a helicopter crash on Sunday, 10 June 2012, that claimed the lives of the Kenyan Minister of Internal Security, Mr George Saitoti, his Deputy, Mr Orwa Ojode, and four police officers.

President Zuma said: "On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of South Africa, I would like to convey my condolences to President Kibaki, the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the families of the deceased during this difficult time of mourning and sadness. Our hearts and prayers are with you as you mourn this tragic loss of life."
