Time to reflect on 2011/12 provincial spending

KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, will on Friday, 1 June 2012 at 12h30, at the KZN Legislature Buildings in Pietermaritzburg, brief the media on the provincial spending.

Now that the 2011/12 financial year has come to an end, it is appropriate to give Preliminary Closeout Report, to reflect and to assess where KZN is in terms of provincial spending and revenue collection.

MEC Cronjé will also deliver the KZN Treasury Budget Vote at legislature. The media briefing is scheduled as follows:

Date: Friday, 1 June 2012
Time: 12h30
Venue: KZN Legislature Buildings, ANC Caucus Room

Media transport: We partnered with the Department of Education which is also delivering its budget speech on the same day. Transport will leave outside Durban Playhouse at 8h00 to the Education media briefing at 10h00 then to the Treasury Media Briefing at 12h30.
