MEC Dodovu provides strategic direction on local government and traditional affairs

The North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, China Dodovu will on Thursday, 31 May 2012, at 08h30, host the local government and traditional affairs stakeholders for a strategic engagement session at the Rustenburg Civic Centre.

This engagement session is envisaged to afford MEC Dodovu an opportunity to present his strategic thinking towards the improvement of the local government system in the province as well as harnessing good working relationships with stakeholders.

Stakeholders expected to be part of the engagement session will amongst others include Executive Mayors, Mayors, Speakers and Councillors, Municipal Managers, Chief Financial Officers of various municipalities, Office of the Auditor-General South Africa, national and provincial departments, water and energy utilities, e.g. Eskom, water boards and labour unions.
