MEC Helen August to give land parcel to Numsa for housing development in Eastern Cape

22 May 2012

The media is invited to land parcel handover and sod turning function where MEC Helen Sauls-August will hand over two parcels of land bought by the department at a value of R50 million to National Union of Metal Workers of South Africa (NUMSA).

This land for housing development for NUMSA employees in the Nelson Mandela Metro. 

Another fraction of the land will be also be used to build 110 low cost houses for Helen Vale families who will be relocated to this area on completion of this project.
