Public Protector Advocate Thuli Madonsela to dialogue with faith community

Public Protector Advocate Thuli Madonsela will on Friday, 11 May 2012, have a dialogue with various church leaders in Durban.

Themed “The dialogue with the Public Protector,” the meeting looks to explore the role Christians can play to achieve a transformed society. The Public Protector’s address will focus on among others; state of our democracy, misuse of power, checks and balances to the state and freedom of expression.

The event is organised by Diakonia Council of Churches and will be attended by people from various religious groups, community organisations and social justice activists.
