Minister of Tourism Marthinus van Schalkwyk to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with his counterparts from Zimbabwe and Lesotho respectively
10 May 2012 Members of the media are cordially invited to attend and observe the signing ceremonies of the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the Minister of Tourism Marthinus van Schalkwyk with his counterparts in Zimbabwe and in Lesotho respectively. The signing ceremonies take place on the fringe of Indaba 2012 between 12 and 15 May 2012. Through the MoUs, South Africa will cooperate with the respective countries on the promotion and increase of tourism exchanges to grow and develop tourism in the region. The respective MoUs are intended to strengthen the regional integration agenda of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the African Union (AU), in particular in the area of tourism.
