Minister Gugile Nkwinti to table his Budget Vote and the launch of the Mid-Term Review Booklet

The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Honourable Gugile Nkwinti, cordially invites members of the media to a media briefing that will take place at the Imbizo Centre in Parliament at 11h00 am, 15 May 2012.

The Minister will deliver his 2012 Budget Vote Speech to the National Assembly in Parliament, Cape Town on 15 May 2012 at 16h30.

The Budget Vote Speech will focus on key deliverables, outputs and cover a range of critical issues involving the mandate of the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform. The minister will on that day launch the mid-term review booklet for Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP). The booklet will highlight the achievements and challenges that faced the Department with the implementation of its work since 2009.

Journalists attending will be given an opportunity to ask the Minister questions pertaining to his budget speech and the mid-term review booklet. Members of the media are urged to take advantage of this opportunity. The Minister would greatly appreciate your attendance to this important occasion.
