MEC Marawu to address memorial service at Elliotdale

The MEC for Transport, Roads and Public, Thandiswa Marawu will address the memorial service of six road accident victims at Xhora Town Hall in Elliotdale on 10 May 2012.

The six died when a Toyota Quantum travelling from Cape Town to Elliotdale overturned on the R61 about 10km from Cradock to Tarkastad on 27 April 2012.

Four people died on the spot and six were injured, the fifth person died in Cradock hospital while the sixth victim died in Port Elizabeth after being transferred to Livingstone Hospital.

Four of those who passed on were from Elliotdate, one from Ngqamakhwe and another one from Mount Frere.
