More health facilities worth more than R32m to be officially opened for the Communities of Ganyesa, Moshoana, Tlapeng, Mmamutla and Bloemhof in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District

7 May 2012

The North West MEC for Health Dr Magome Masike will officially open new clinics in Tlapeng and Moshoana villages near Ganyesa. Ganyesa Hospital has also received a major boost with the extension of the hospital’s Pharmacy and Casualty area.

The expanded pharmacy will help with bulk storage of medication and other essential drugs which used to be in dire shortage. Moshoana clinic was built with budgets from both the Department of Health and the Dr Ruth Segomotsi District Municipality.

The event will be held at Tlapeng Clinic, tomorrow, 08 May 2012 starting at 10h00.

On the 11 May 2012, the MEC will move to Bloemhof to officially open Mmamutla Clinic and Bloemhof Community Health Center. Mmamutla is a replacement clinic which has seen the demolition of the old dilapidated structure giving way to the new modern clinic. Bloemhom CHC will have added benefits with casualty and a bigger pharmacy as the Department continues with its plan to eradicate shortage of medication.

The event on the 11 May 2012 will start at 14h00 at Bloemhof Hospital.

Media is invited to both events.
