6 May 2012

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will undertake a working visit to Sharm-el-Sheik, Egypt, to attend the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordinating Bureau (COB). The meeting is scheduled for 9 to 10 May 2012.

In this regard, it is expected that during the meeting Ministers will discuss, among others, issues that affect the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as global issues i.e. the review of International Law; promotion and preservation of Multilateralism; follow-up to the Millennium Declaration and the outcomes of Major United Nations (UN) Summits and Conferences; UN reform; Disarmament; as well as International Security.
